  1. YES !!!! The Cigar Lounge has a separate enterance on the LEFT side of the building - but the identical menu to that served in the Main Dining Room is available in the Cigar Lounge... We had a gathering there recently; met for pre-dinner cigars and drinks - went up to the Maqin Dining Room for the meal (no smoking allowed there0 then went back to the lounge for deserts and cigars and Port after the main meal.... A very well run establishment....
  2. I'm in total agreement with Rob on this one.... A WONDERFUL and DELICIOUS Cigar - beautifully constructed and delivering a solid great tobacco flavour all the way...... Normally - I prefer my cigars with 5+ years of age on them - having said that - the Mag 48 brought a whole spectrum of great taste in this very young cigar. I'm very glad I put my 'normal' guidelines aside and got a chance to enjoy this stick..... Another winner form H. Upmann....
  3. There have been 105 World Series Fall Classics played in the history of Major League Baseball... The New York Yankees made it into the finals for FORTY (40) of those 105 World Series.... The New York Yankees WON 27 out of the 40 World Series they played in.... That is an amazing record for an amazing organization..... The rumour is that their Manager who wore Number 27 on his Uniform this year will be sporting Number 28 next season....... .....as they say....if you can make it happen...it isn't bragging !!! BTW - after the Yankees - with their 27 World Series titles - the next team in total World Series wins is the St. Louis Cardinals.... They have 10 World Series Crowns to their credit..... Let's go Yankees....... XXVIII in 2010 !!!
  4. Just finished a magical pairing of the much under-appreciated J.L. #1, DIC 00 date code (still BRINGS the flavours big time) with a few snifters of Louis Royer XO Cognac....... the thing dreams are made of.....just beautiful.... My top pairings with cigars are (in no particular order - depends on the mood): Cognac - too many to list - but Tesseron Lot 29 is currently my #1 Port - just about all types - LBVs, Vintage, 10 and 20 yr Tawny Aged Rums (lately HC Barrel Strength, Diplomatico 12 Year Grand Reserve (Venezuela) or my favourite white rum - Orinoco from Brasil).
  5. Welcome aboard, Jon... Boston is absolutely one of the greatest cities in the USA....got to know it pretty well attending school in Cambridge for a few years..just an awesome 'little'big city - very manageable to embrace and get to know..... You've found a great spot here with Rob, Lisa, Smitty and the gang... Plenty of great and very knowledgeable people here and our host runs one of the absolutely BEST places to really let you experience the best that the world of Habana cigars has available today...
  6. Welcome aboard...you've landed at one of the Premier Habana cigar and things related to them sites anywhere.... Enjoy the experience...
  7. Greetings, Mark.... Plenty of fine members here from the Northeast...... You've found an awesome site here....
  8. I actually was only smoking a pipe all through my undergraduate and into my graduate days at University ---till one evening where after an all nighter spent finishing off a major project and having that pipe going for many hours (mainly a Turkish Latakia blend like Balkan Sobraine or something very close)- I leaned back and got a mouth full of 'goo' that made me ill for the next few days.... It took a long time till I even tried a pipe again...and when I did...the magic was gone.... I've happily been smoking only cigars since that time....
  9. That's the beauty of this thing of ours --- everyone's palate is correct for their tastes..... I prefer my cigars with a nice Port or Single Malt Whisky or Cognac or Bourbon - that works for me as the Pina Colada works for you.... and we're both 'right'...
  10. Oh My --- and they labelled these as EL 2009! no less !!!! As we have been told - the EL 09's are to be from Bolivar, Upmann and RyJ.... The Cohiba-mides have been done twice already - 3 times if you count these fake ones from the House of Fugazy....
  11. Bro. Mark.... LOL!!!! but What are you talking about? I just won the gorgeous ORIS chronometer in the recently conducted FOH drawing!!!! So when you need to know the time - just drop a line........ Best Fraternal Regards...
  12. That's great advice! You will develop your list of favourites and cigars you like a little less in no time at all... Enjoy the adventure and Welcome to FOH!
  13. Welcome to FOH...... Remember the adage that the joy of a 'great buy' is far outlived by the disapointment of having spent unwisely.... In all my years of procurring cigars - I have not met a finer nor more reputable and caring supplier than FOH's own Cigar Czar & Co.... You will do no better than by touring the offerings in the Cigar store at the top of this page -plus there are specials on various marques going on constantly.
  14. Welcome to FOH... You've found a great site with lots of good and very knowledgeable people who consider this HOME.....
  15. Welcome to FOH..... Remember if there is anything youse guys want to try and don't have a trade going - our Host here is an excellent source of SINGLES and great assortments on the Cigar Shop link at the top of this page - good way to sample a lot of the various offerings and zero in on what you like and don't like as much..... It's how I started down this slippery slope and looking back, I think it's a great way to go.
