I just calibrated all my oasis caliber IV's, my Govees, and ink bird using the salt test. I did this test multiple times over several days. All of the hydrometers were 4-5 percent below what they should have been reading. So that means my humidor that was reading 65 was really at 70 😲 Changed all my hydrometers to reflect the actual 75rh from the salt and then retested them. My cigars are smoking wonderful now 👍

I had to vote average even though I didn't want to. I do recognize them as great go to cigars. They are a must have of several cabs in the humi as well. However, if I had to open my humi up and reach for a cigar while thinking "hey this is a great cigar," I would probably reach for something else.

I say go for it. I love doing projects like this. Just be sure to think things through. Measure twice cut once. I would love to see pictures of start to finish if you are willing to share the progress. Good luck to you

I think I'm falling down into the 750 range. Haven't purchased in a long long time, so the number has been dropping rapidly I'm definitely doing way too many withdraws and not enough deposits to the humi.

Don't toss them, hang on to them and revisit them later. I currently have a box a Cohiba Sig II's that were just not right due to previous storage from the vender maybe? I bought them "aged" and they are just crap. However, after about two more years in my humi and about halfway through the box, I found one that was amazing! I thought to myself, Yes! Maybe they will all be like this one right? Then I smoked another one a week later and... well... not so much. But I keep them around because who knows, there could be another winner in there So I say hold on to them and hope for the best!

I have my humi set to 63/63. Sometimes it will be 62/62 just depends. I will usually pull my smokes out of the humi about 2-3 days before I smoke them, I guess that's my "dry box"
