  1. On a side note, Nino, glad to see that you're a member on here. I didn't realize it. I've read a number of articles from your online blog at The Flying Cigar, and your pictures, words, and zest for the "good stuff" is infectious to read and enjoy. Pleasure to meet your acquaintance (as well as that of all those on here).
  2. Nino, thanks for the head's up. Yeah, I saw on Cigar Reviewer (I think it was) a mention that MRN was working on a new version for the end of 2010, to come out in early 2011 or 2012 - that way, it could cover the full 50 year spread following the Revolution. Even though I just (finally) got this 2005 edition, I would still get a newer 2nd Edition. It's all well worth it. MRN appears to be a guy that has my enthusiasm, love, and geniune interest in Habanos, just the same as me, but the BIG difference is that he has billions of times more resources. I'm definitely a fan of what he did wi
  3. I had looked around for this book for a while, and had read previous threads on FOH about sources for this. I always kept an eye out for this book on Cigarmony, but it was never in stock, so I figured that it was relatively sold out. Didn't realize that you, Rob & Lisa, had them too. I'm presuming that you guys might have them for a couple of dollars less. Yes, $250 CDN is quite the hefty price. But, I know that the price for this book has been going up and up as it gets more and more hard to find. I definitely wanted to get a copy of it, and it's still worth it, even at that price
  4. Thanks. And, I don't know about your Michael McDonald assertion. I've read a few threads from FOH in the past few years, and I've noticed your tagline before. While it's funny as heck, man, does he ever drive me nuts.
  5. Just noticed my member number: Member No.: 6,965 And I was THIS close to hitting double 69's. Crude, yes. But, it would have been funny nonetheless. LOL. My twisted mind at work, I guess.
  6. Thanks all. Trevor - how many moderators are there then? This seems like a pretty big forum, with lots of members, but a little bit lower on posts than the other forum I'm on (Ridgid PowerTool Forum). Seems like a lot of single/low post members - must be quite a job for you guys, I think there's only 5 of you or so if I'm correct? Either way, glad to (finally) be on here, and hope that I can bring something beneficial to the table also.
  7. I know this is an old thread, but I just got a copy of the Encyclopaedia from a local shop last week. They had a 1/2 dozen or so in stock, and yes, that many, and the actual verified book, still wrapped in plastic. Retail price was $250 Canadian. Yes, quite the ouch, but impossible to find anymore. An amazing reference material.

  9. I'm about 2 or 3 a week, averaged out. I live in southern Ontario, Canada. In the wintertime, my cigar refuge is my garage (and/or my neighbour's hot tub), so it's only one every two weeks to a month. In the spring, summer, fall, I have two to three a week at least, but it usually ends up being around one every day.
  10. Interesting start. I have one of these sitting in my humidor cabinet, from a LCDH purchase locally to me about 2 years ago. I was thinking about lighting it up later on this summer, and savouring it after a few years of some quality aging, and seeing if it's worthwhile to invest in a box. I'll be checking out your review with interest.
  11. Hello all. Newbie here, after "trolling" around for some time, and reading some past stuff over the last few years. My name's Keith, a 31-year-old from Ontario, Canada. Married (4 years) to a beautiful nurse, and we have a 2-year-old son. I have quite a bit of experience relating to the security and law enforcement fields, and in search and rescue - I'm a qualified/certified SAR instructor (all levels) and Search Manager; I have a strong desire to help, instruct, and lead people. I am pushing forward with furthering my career aspirations within the policing/SAR community in Canada; howeve
