  1. I thought of this scene with James Wood smoking a cigar. I wish the clip had started maybe a minute before since there was a shot of him retrohaling.
  2. I'm transitioning over to a straight razor right now. I've had it for a few weeks and no trips to the emergency room yet. Since I'm still learning I go slow so I don't have time to use it in the morning during the week. The straight razor will be my weekend thing at least until I'm more efficient with it. I don't want to have to be in a rush when handling my straight.
  3. Great story. It convinced me to run out and buy a pipe on the weekend. Can't wait to try it out!
  4. After being given one from CanadianBeaver I have a box on the way!
  5. Eh... that's alright. My car survived more years than I expected it to. It had a good life. Next trip up to Lisa's I'll be driving something newer and more reliable.
  6. Just heard back from my mechanic. It will cost $2,000 to scavenge and install a replacement transmission. His recommendation was to scrap it. I guess I'm in the market for a new car now.
  7. Thank you so much for having Diana and I up at your wonderful country getaway. Both you and Matthew were most excellent hosts. Lisa kept my nicotine buzz going all weekend long. Not even my car troubles could take away from the incredible time we had. Great conversation, great cigars, great food! 5 stars!
  8. I like to leave them in the tubes with the caps on in my humidor. I love the smell when I unscrew the cap and take the cigar out.
  9. I picked up some coronas and robustos from him last month when he set up in front of Sleuth & Statesman in downtown Toronto.
  10. Just sent an email for a box of HQ Monte 4's - my first box of HQ anything. I'm excited!
  11. Even though it was a bit tough-going, I'm still deeply grateful for Lisa's help in busting my Opus X cherry.
  12. I am so in! I'm still kicking myself for missing last year!
