  1. Hey there, good to know you are in town. I have been silent on the forums for quite a while, and just popped in today and saw this. Been in the Bay Area for 3 years now, and only found one good shop, and thats over on my side of the golden gate bridge, in Marin County - its called Telfords. Hope you have a grand time while in the area.
  2. Missed you too. Hope all is well with you and the family. Getting back to the real world has been a major change. Longer commute, longer work hours, paying taxes again! All is good here with Laura and I. Hope to catch up with you soon on your worldly travels!
  3. Nope. Work prison. Came back to the real world and had to get gainful employment again. Daily grind got in the way of FOH forum time, among other things.
  4. Way too much work and not nearly enough cigars. Good thing is we landed in the SF Bay Area so it's absolutely gorgeous here.
  5. Good afternoon FOH crew. I cannot remember the last time I posted on FOH. Thought I would reach out and say hello. Working from home today and decided to come outside and enjoy a RASS. First cigar I've smoked all month, but traveling for business next week to Dallas and expect to get in one per day if my luck holds out. Hope everyone is doing great. All the best, rushman.
  6. I should have gotten off my arse and on the boards and in this. I'm on the tail end of dropping 40lbs although it's taken me a year to do it.
  7. Well thought out Pres. While I have above the min and below the max, I just don't smoke as much anymore. I will arrange to ship out 5 soon. Thanks for the awesome service sir.
  8. Yep, what he said. Kinda got lost in the shuffle of the real world again. Also just moved from socal to Bay Area few months back. I need to get back to the board and smoking again. My schedule has been very hectic (including an unwanted daily commute) since the move. Glad I checked in to see this message. Will be heading back to PDC for a week sometime this fall or winter. My favorite part, besides cutting the cord from work, is working in the cigar shop again, if only for a week. Thanks for the kind words Balboa. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Just moved to NorCal just north of San Fran. Work 20 mins north of the golden gate. Don't know the good cigar joints in the city but am happy to meet up. I'm not on the foh boards much lately so if you end up gathering send me a note at [email protected] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I used to be a car guy. Living in Mexico for two years with just a bike, taxis and the bus to the airport cured me of that. Now that I'm back in the states its basic transport. A. 10 year old truck with vey low miles. Don't get me started on motorcycles, that's a whole other story. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. What the hell. I'd vote for them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Hello FOHers. I have been gone from the forum for far too long. Seems this returning to the first world and having to work for a living again has taken its toll on my cigar social life. Been back in the states since last summer. There are two cigar shops in my immediate area. Neither of which I frequent very often. Yesterday I decided to pull a box down from the OLH, a 2011 RASS. Figured that might get my juices flowing again. How has everybody been?
  13. Never combined the two before. Although on at least two occasions, i have had a cigar after far too many glasses of Soju.
  14. I bought a box or two maybe 3 years ago to take down to our store in Mexico to have some additional NC options. I smoked one or two and wasn't displeased.
  15. A sleeper. I still have more than half a box of aged RGPC. I think 2001 or so. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Puebla is a nice place. My father in law lives there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Is that Serious Cigars? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Most U.S. Companies start at 10 days vacay and go up after 5 years but most max out at 5. Generally speaking that's it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Been looking for a new laptop and work travel backpack for some time. Problem is I wanted one that wasn't too bulky. Settled in the ebags tls professional slim backpack (not the weekender). Used it this week on travel and it's awesome. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. I like most biscuits (what we call cookies and other things) dunked in milk. What we call biscuits on the other hand I would never dunk, but I would smother in gravy as mentioned above. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Oh.........forgot the two dozen mexican "baja style" sweater pullovers I bought thinking I could sell them. I think 23 of them are still in mexico in storage. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Most of my life I've been an impulse purchaser. Thank god I'm too lazy to have ever bought a treadmill or juicer. Countless "one use" tools but I don't regret a single one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. I only had one. Gifted to me by Alejandro who owns LCDH in PDC when I was still living there. It was very enjoyable as memory serves. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
