  1. It's worth too much, it will be repaired to good as new. It's hard to total a $1.2-1.9MM car.
  2. Is Canadian whisky with tons of age any good? What does it taste like? Are there differences between JP Wisers and Canadian Club bottlings in terms of content? A lot of Canadian whisky has grain neutral spirits in it (basically vodka) and they are often terrible because of that. Also, they are often blended with several different whiskies- bourbon, rye, corn whisky, etc. I would imagine that a very high end bottling won't have any of the crap in it, but I was more curious to see if it is a single source whisky or still blended.
  3. We’re on the same page, I have a bunch of 2003 Uigeadail, one of my favorite. I recently got a bottle of Alligator and it is great as well. I wish we could get 17 at a reasonable price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Taste is subjective; if you didn’t like the ones above, I’m curious which Ardbegs you like. I liked the CR Dark Cove and didn’t mind the CR Kelpie. I found the An Oa to be too light in character. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No, it’s not. Dr. Bill recently characterized the 21 as a hyper aged Ardbeg 10, while the Twentysomething is characterized as an old school sherried Ardbeg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I agree it’s very good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I had the 1985 yesterday. It was very good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. The 70% (by volume) and 80% (by revenue) numbers are from Habanos SA directly. I know that in many non-US markets, CCs dominate. But since we are an international forum and have some retailers on here as well, I was looking for some info on exactly what is being sold in non-US markets and how much. A lot of NC producers denigrate CCs, which is totally ridiculous if you ask me. Badmouthing a competitor's product is a no-no from Sales 101.
  11. Hi FoH'ers, I was hoping that some of you can help shed some light on a debate that I had with a friend of mine. He claims that a few of the bigger NC producers are making big inroads into Europe and taking significant market share away from CCs. I asked him where he was getting his info from and he told me it was from a NC producer. I mentioned that this would be a biased source, but he was adamant. From what I can find, CC hold about 70% market share globally in units and 80% in revenue. Has there been any significant shift in the market in Europe, where some of the NC producers
  12. I've had Diplomatico Ambassador. It's cloyingly sweet and not worth the high price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I don't like most of the line extensions, but the Oscuro Oro was phenomenal. Great cigar, truly great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
