  1. It is so much fun to do, especially if you are smoking two or three of your very favorite cigars at the same time. Make sure that each cigar has a flavor profile that is distinct and pronounced; sweet, fruity, spicy, strong ligero or maduro... something distinct, If you can try to also chose distinct textural elements for each cigar; smoothness, roughness, weight in your mouth and in your hand. And last is the texture of the smoke; thick enough to blow smoke rings and I'm in heaven!
  2. Have you ever seen Four Rooms? If you liked Pulp Fiction... You will absolutely love it! Four Rooms (1995) Summaries Four interlocking tales that take place in a fading hotel on New Year's Eve. This movie features the collaborative directorial efforts of four new filmmakers, each of whom directs a segment of this comedy. It's New Year's Eve at the Mon Signor Hotel, a former grand old Hollywood hotel, now fallen upon hard times. 5. Dear Rob: I must say, this has got to be one of the coolest efforts any one has ever undertaken for anyone that smokes Cuban cigars. I'm so proud of what you are doing for FOH!
  6. During my first 10 years of cigar smoking, I fell in love with the Padron Maduro. In those days, many new cigars came out regularly with a maduro wrapper which became the cigar of choice because the wrapper was selected from the best leaves harvested from the top levels of the “ Shade Grown ” tobacco plant, which was developed, after an additional period of fermentation. Perhaps this is just a way for Cuban cigar manufacturers to give their fans something NEW to smoke. Not better, bot worse, just something new where they can show a real difference in the flavor of fermented tobacco.
  7. What did you use to season it? I use 65 degree temp/humidity beads. I'm glad you said not to overthink it. But now I'm thinking about it. Are my babies safe? How often do you check your cigar Temp/Humidity? What do you use to stabilize your cigar environment?
  8. Invite your "OLOGY" friends over for poker and a BBQ. Get them involved in reducing your boring stock.
  9. They look wonderful! Once lit, they will become round again. No harm no foul. I'm hoping that you bought them at an authorized LCDH. I stopped buying my cigars from Mexico after being scammed more than once.
  10. I tend to not smoke in public, so if it is between going out or staying in, I typically choose the latter. Where, when and what I smoke all depends on what I'm doing. I chose the cigar for the task. If I'm watering the lawn or cutting the grass, I'll smoke something that is less expensive, short, flavorful but not too strong. If I'm walking around a lake or a golf course, I'll smoke something big, long and mild. If I'm reading a book, I'll smoke something more complex that I can contemplate while reading. If I'm playing cards with my friends, I'll go long and thin. And if I'm out in the shed i
