  1. Cohiba Siglo IV MUS SEP 13 Bringing out the big guns. These are the oldest Cubans in my stock by way of El Prez' auctions. I absolutely love the older Cuban bands and have fond memories of trying my 1st Cohiba shortly after college and instantly falling in love with the flavors without knowing much else about anything related to cigars. Fast forward to the present where I continued to be drawn to the brand from the history, luxury and flavor profile from the barrel fermentation, this brings back that nostalgia. And its from my birthday month and typically reserved for birthday cigars or celebrations... onto the review! Beautiful looking band, good cold draw, very nice Cohiba aromas along the body and foot of honey and hay. Excited to get this party started! Delicious initial flavors of honey, hay and graham crackers. Good draw, a little bit salty, which is always nice. Cigar becomes noticeably squishy along the body. A little bit of spice, very smooth, elegant flavors, nice pleasant finis. Medium+ volume of smoke, easy to draw. Flavors and draw slowly pick up in intensity. Ash lasted for an inch. 2nd third picks up in intensity a bit, you're not going to sleep on this one. Construction is solid and the cherry hasn't gone out or faded at all having smoked this in a colder/rainy day outside in Los Angeles. Love these matured Cohiba flavors. Down to the last third and the flavors continue to become more bold. Heartier than the Siglo2 and some minty flavors coming along. Took it down to the nub, an hour and 10 minutes of smoking time. Absolutely love these smokes. Imagine them slowly losing a bit of the boldness as they round out even more over the next 5 years (if they make it that long). Need to buy another box of 4's to start aging for when these puppies disappear. Curious to hear what other's have experienced with this vitola with additional years of age. Cheers. Burn: 5/5 Construction: 5/5 Flavor: 5/5 Smell: 5/5 Wrapper: 5/5 Overall Score: 25/25
  2. Hey guys and gals. I got a box of Sig IVs in today. I took a look at the cigars and I think I may have gotten a bad box. I suspect these will all have very tight or even plugged draw. Box code is ORA MAY 15 Here is a picture. What do you think?
