Astros-Sox has ended with a Game 6 shutout and, of course, a champagne celebration for the Pennant winners in their locker room. I have recently been experimenting with some RM Champagnes and have enjoyed those I've tried very much. The selection of grower champagnes is not huge in the states, but is ever changing and appears to be growing. I enjoy the crisp, mineral, cirtus/fruit tartness of the Pierre Gimmonet Y fils Blanc de Blacs and the L Aubry Fils Brut. Does anybody have recommendations on similar Growers Champagnes?
So My wife and I are going next month to Havana to celebrate our anniversary (isn't she the best wife?) so we were wondering if we can bring a bottle or 2 of wine in to Cuba? When we went on our honey moon to Napa, we bought some special bottles that we only like to drink during our anniversary. So is it a go? or should we better buy our alcohol over there?
