  1. My journey with cigars began in 1985 but about 2 years ago I discovered Cubans were available again to USA consumers. In a quirky change of events, I grew unhappy with the ever increasing ring sizes offered by USA vendors and started seeking smaller and longer instead. New marcas from DR or Nicaragua seldom have a ring gauge below 50 today? I smoke a lot and have purchased more than 70 boxes of Cubans this year along with an assortment of nc's. I consider myself to be a value shopper and after lurking at FOH for over a year, the most compelling reason for me to join was to give my VISA number to join the auctions and otherwise, consider myself in the learning stage when it comes to all things Cuban. My education has increased greatly because of this forum.
