Drink: Time Bomb - 2 parts Dark rum , 1 park Kahlua , Coke Cold Draw: Easy .. Too easy Construction and Burn: Not good , burn was uneven and required constant touch ups Smoke time: 45 minutes as I put it out early First Half: a little pepper at the start, then leather, coffee , cream, cedar and sweetness Second Half: nothing just tobacco... a whole lot of "Meh.." Score: 1/5 of the 3 small formats I've smoked this week the RyJ petite Churchill is the hands down winner... I'm thinking the CC's are spoiling me.. I enjoyed the drink more and hung in more to finish it... I wanted to put it out at about 20 minutes.. Pictures:

Had this stick in my box for a little while picked it up from my local B&M store here in Boise. This is a Nic/Honduran Villazon blend that is one of my favorites.. I gravitate towards Villazon and have always enjoyed them. Doing this in halves due to small format . The Drink: Diplomatico rum Old Fashioned Cold Draw: Tobacco only Construction /Burn: Well constructed wrapper was beautiful and the burn was spot on. Smoke time: 56 minutes First Half: cream, sweetness, coffee, leather, and a hint of cinnamon Second Half: leather and sweetness.. finished with leather and was a little off towards the end.. put it out Score: 3/5 due to the poor finish.... Finally broke into the sampler Box and I'm glad I did... This is the best Robusto I've smoked this year even better than an Opus X I'd had earlier.. Due to the Short format will do first and second halves.. The Drink : Dark and Stormy Cold Draw: Barnyard and sweet tobacco Construction and burn: Great construction wrapper was beautiful and the burn was pretty even with a few touchups required Smoke time : 50 minutes First Half tasting notes : Sweet tobacco, vanilla, honey, and cream Second Half tasting notes: Sweet cream continuing, Cedar, Sweet coffee, Leather , and hint of fruit perfume ? Score: 4/5 I've found another Marca I like... RA and now RyJ.. maybe I like anything that starts with an "R" Pictures :
