We had intended to have our first try at the RAS from May 20 but ran out of time as my son got in later than we thought he would. He's finishing up his sophomore year at the University of Idaho. He and and his brothers do a charity tandem bicycle ride from Moscow to Boise every year (295 miles). The charity this year was Hope House of Marsing Idaho a home for emotionally / developmentally impaired youth or youth from abusive families. A great undertaking and I'm proud of him and his brothers for doing this.. After they got in yesterday and we finished dinner , I got the proceedings going... Drink : Something I threw together : (2 parts Rum, 2 parts Lemonade, 1 part pineapple juice, splash of grenadine shaken with ice) pour this in a tall glass and then add Ginger beer on top and mix Cold Draw : Mine was a little tight,his was perfect... Mine also had hints of barnyard Construction and Burn: Perfect burn on mine , his required a few touchups and 1 relight Tasting Notes ( we didn't pay alot of attention as we were catching up...) so I will just do Tasting notes : Him: Oatmeal cookie, Cedar and Maple syrup Me: Raisin, Chocolate, and Cream Smoke Time: 45 minutes for me 50 for him Score : We both rated them a solid 4/5 Pictures:

Second cigar smoked out of this box and it has changed or gotten a little smoother or less sick from my first review a few months back. I got my second Covid stick 2 days ago and didn't feel like drinking so maybe my palate is a little sharper or I'm sharper for not drinking... Nonetheless... Drink: Burger King Diet Coke Cold Draw: Tight.. I elected to go with it and had to PD shortly after lighting Construction and Burn: not the prettiest out there and the burn needed 1 or 2 corrections Smoke time: 45 minutes 1/3 : Chocolate and Cream with Coffee and lingering Leather background. 2/3 : More Coffee notes with Chocolate and Cream along with Wood and leather. 3/3 : Strong Coffee with less Chocolate and my old friends Wood and leather hanging in the background. Score: 3.5 / 5 I really got more pronounced chocolate out of this than the first time around.. the other usual suspects were still there.. Leather, Wood, and Coffee. I know this will only get better with more time Pictures:
