I had a bottle of 1998 and it was really delicious. I got it on special for 35 euros but now it is over 50 euros so I passed.

I have a bottle of the 1994 as well. I haven't opened mine yet, but I'm glad to hear its enjoyable.

I found all of these video reviews a couple of weeks ago. They impressed me enough to want to try to Learn more about scotch. So now while I am on my cigar education journey I find myself ready to start my scotch journey! (as my wide rolls her eyes)

Nice thread revival :D

Whoever wrote that comment about Octomore should have his taste buds examined though - 140ppm of peat! Just suck on a piece of charcoal for the same effect. $140 for a 5 year-old single malt saved ;)

I kid, I kid!

Octomore is one of my all time fav's. Not a good choice with a cigar though as it will overpower pretty much anything.

Had the 18 year old at a Scotch tasting recently. Definately worth the money.

Can't speak for the 21, 25, 30, 40, or 50 year olds!

The 18 YO is my choice. Highland Park is like Macallan in that they age their scotch in Sherry refill casks-- so keep that in mind before spending the $ if you are not into sherried Scotch's...
