There are very many beautiful photos of giant fish caught in nice weather.

I thought to show the other side of the hobby.

I got my smallest fish so far in dark and very cold weather about two years ago. The photo is also crappy.

Have you caught a smaller fish in your hooks?

It would have been quite tricky to clean it up with those fingers. :2thumbs:

I am kind of a "green" fisher.

My fishing filosofy:

- release if it's small, it may be your biggest after some years

- release if it's big, they are good breeders

- kill immediately if it's injured and eat it if possible, otherwise give it to seagulls

- go home when you've got enough to eat

After the mentioned trip I must have eaten a burger. :party:

I think you win! When I was younger we would go "Snagging" for chinook during they're run up stream but never anything like that
