It's not bad but not that much better than the regular 10 year.

I find that to be true with most of Glenmo's line..

Lagavulin 25 and cash for the win!! Thats one of my dream bottles right there!

Is Pappy 23 really valued at 1200+?? Thats just stupid.

1800-1850 typically, but I know in DC and NYC people are known to get over 3k

I am not a big fan of Pappy 23 although this year's was quite nice. I know the Lagavulin is something I'd never normally buy, so this is a way to get it without spending a ton. And the Lagavulin 37 is ridiculously priced.

Rum Ratings puts it in top 10 aged, few decent reviews on the stuff. I was looking earlier today online and looks like it may not be available in the U.S. ?

I had my first bottle at the cigar place and bought another one through rum ratings.

Sneaking another bottle in before the end of 2016 - a 1996 Clynelish 19 Year Old, bottled from casks no. 6401 & 6402 by independent bottlers: Signatory.

Seng, nice pickup! BTW, is there any way to tell whether a Clynelish cask is peated or not? I've found both from Signatory and no indication either way.

I wouldn't be too concerned as typically Clynelish is unpeated.

Brora has a slightly stronger flavour...

Here is a good historical account of the Clynelish/Brora/Clynelish progression

I have no idea other than reading reviews of that specific bottling, or having a taste yourself. I don't believe Signatory will indicate if it is peated or otherwise.

I am quite sure this particular bottling of Clynelish is not peated based on the flavour descriptors used by the shopkeeper.

Edradour 18 Oloroso Sherry finish 24 months. If you guys are in Texas, swing by a Specs to grab a bottle of this stuff. I'm in love with it!

Boxing Day presents to myself, 3 bottles of the Bladnoch Adela 15 Year Old for the collection.

Much anticipated and long awaited bottling of this revived distillery.

A bottle of the NAS bottling of the Bladnoch Samsara, a bottle of the Longmorn 16 Year Old (rumoured to be discontinued) and another bottle of the Laphroaig Select Cask.
