I thought it was very good to be honest, particularly considering the price point. Big vanilla flavour up front for me with a decent finish. I haven’t drank much bourbon previously but I think it was a good introduction. Just had a small sample of the Gold last night ( couldnt help myself) and it was very enjoyable. It was a pleasant surprise to get the last bottle of this Hakushu 12 bottle for half price (or at its old price, as it's doubled in value since announced as discontinued this year).I picked one of those up last time I was in Tokyo.
