headstand
With winter settling in, my thoughts have turned to the smaller cigars. I'm hoping to get some FOH feedback on the H. UPMANN PETIT CORONAS. Thanks in advance. Alan

Lotusguy
I had a couple. Pretty good, but there are better PCs out there for my taste: BPC, PLPC, ERDM PC, and Monte #4, of course.

UPMANN PETIT CORONAS. Thanks in advance. Alan funny I smoked one tonight.....I've got a box (Sep 10). Really enjoy this cigar, not a PC that a lot of people might reach for but the aroma and flavours are fantastic...i definately recommend.

Nocoins
My thought on the HUPC is that there are several better representations of the Upmann profile (which I quite like) -- SW, No. 2, and Mag 46. Generally, I prefer many other PCs to the HUPC.
jedipastor
I've been looking at these too. What is the flavor profile like? Are they closer to Corona Major Tubo or a Mag 46?

Wil
I really like them. They don't seem too popular though.
nubchin
Grate mild-medium PC similar range to Dip4 and Party Aristocrats , I guess they lack in some Upmann flavors seen in other vitolas but still a good pc.Very aromatic.
PAL
Tried one the other day and bought more, then when they were gone a box of them. I was impressed by the balance. Nice, though a bit faint aftertaste, multiple flavors and excellent burn/smoke on them. For a small cigar, it seems to have the basics covered. Never had to light them more than once. As a double-corona and larger cigar guy, was surprised how much I enjoyed them and how often I went for them. worlds greatest it may not be but a perfectly fine little smoke. jdbrown
I actually prefer the Upmann Regalias PC. After a few months in the humi they have a similar profile with Winstons. My experience has been that the Upmann Petit Coronas need more time but I have not had recent production.
mikec
The UPC I just got MGA MAR 11 have been really good. They just released the Upmann Half Coronas in Toronto so I'm interested in trying these. The ones I tried from Havana where excellent.
mbrody
Have them. Not my favorite PC. Not bad either. Love Mag 46, Connie 1. I am willing to trade some of what I have if anyone is interested...
melies
I really like the them, they tend to be one of my go to cigars along with the Partagas shorts and the Trinidad Reyes, the new ones are excellent even young, but better with some age
sblevit
They are good. But I would rather reach for a Boli PC, SCDLH EP or Party Short.

Rogers72
I try to keep at least a box around at all times. I smoke them pretty regularly and find them to be remarkably consistent and well constructed. Probably the most rich of the Upmann's to me. headstand
Thanks for the input! The wide range of opinions just makes me want to try them more to satisfy my curiosity. I enjoy the H.U. # 2 and the Mag 46 so I maybe predisposed to enjoy. That being said, my go-to PC is the Bolivar.

Smallclub
Isn't this the cigar President Kennedy was known to smoke? No, Pdt Kennedy's cigar was the Petit Upmann, a short panatela (vitola Cadetes); not to be confused with the machine made, cellophaned Petit Upmann. Both discontinued in 2002. PAL
Well, just finished another H Upmann PC. Wow, it was a good little cigar. Draw was just fine and only lit it once, not touch ups as burn was pretty much spot on. Great finish and some sweetness. It was from a box marked 3/11. For such a young smoke it was impressive and completely enjoyable. Hope the rest of the box is as good! Just opened it after letting them rest after they where shipped to me by Lisa and the crew. Both discontinued in 2002. I believe I read that the petit Upmanns Kennedy smoked were the machine made ones and they were classified as a small panetela 31ringx108mm and were available in boxes of 100 per cuban cigar website.
