Fuzz Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 Considering that that wine was released 5 years ago in a standard bottle for under $250, it's more about it being a piece of art than a bottle of wine. The Block 42 vines at the Kalimna vineyard were used to create the 1953 Grange, so there is a bit of history associated with it. Then again, you can buy a standard bottle of this wine right now for about $650, so you're really paying a premium for a bit of designer glass.
