A recent little pickup. Clear Havanas from 1926. They smell pretty good. They had a long trip but after some humi time, I'm going to fire one up. :ok:

Lovely workmanship on the package. The front of the box looks like hammered copper.

A little bit of info on the back.

The opened box. Cigars in cello and a little ribbon to act as a hinge. (Very nice touch)

A closeup of the cigars along with the original inspection slip.

Cool! Just yesterday I received a box of MCAs (I'm guessing from the same source) that are also from the 1920s. I'm a history buff at heart, so I'm a sucker for a box of stogies that's ~80 years old. I can see getting really into the vintage boxes. I blame Claus. Those videos were too cool. And now your box. They look awesome! Nice grab!

Cheers,

Greg

Very good. I'm letting them rest a bit since they took a while to get home. When we get a nice, sunny, lazy Sunday, I'm going to grab, the camera, fire one up and take notes. :)
