Fallen Angel. Yum!

Getting Saturday started. After I took the pic I realized that the use of the Wings glass with this beer was poetic. Accidentally poetic, but poetic nonetheless.

As for the Fallen Angel, it's a great stout. Nothing heavy about this one at all. Creamy coffee and chocolate flavors with a sweetish note. Similar in flavor to the Abita Turbodog, which is another beer I really dig. And both go well with a nice stogie.

Looks and sounds good. Not sure if I can find it around here but will have to look. If you get a chance try the Rouge Hazelnut Brown Ale,very tasty.

Absolutely agreed. I tried it for the first time last week at a local JL Beers on tap and was hooked from the first sip. I've yet to find a beer that wasn't better on tap, but even out of a bottle it's a great beer to have on hand.
