Damn...now I gotta go get a deep fryer to make those onion rings just so I can wrap bacon around them. I can feel my arteries hardening already...mmmmm.

They are grilled, not fried!

Mmm..how about this...take a corn dog, wrap it in bacon, dip that in cheese, let the cheese harden, then coat that in batter and deep fry again...AND repeat.

The original batter on the interior CD would not sustain.

I love bacon as much as the next guy, but this sounds gross

"Lord, beer me patience and forgive him, fore he knows not what he does!"

My wife makes bacon wrapped dates.

You use the large 1.5" dates ( pitted)

Wrap it with half a strip of bacon and secure with a tooth-pick, then broil them and turn them as they get burned.

I thought she had gone mad, until I humored them and ate half the tray.

They are great and quite flavorful.

Viva Bacon!

I do bacon wrapped dates with a smoked almond inside. There is something about the texture of that crunch inside that sets it off!
