bradbrennan
Do you have to be female to have read the books???
HarveyBoulevard
No. But if you read them you do turn into a female if you were not already.
HarveyBoulevard
My wife started reading one of the books out loud and I grew a boob. Now I have to be in the fat bastard competition.

bradbrennan
you're dead to me So I take it you didn't read it I'm comfortable enough with my masculinity to admit I enjoyed all three for some reason... and I enjoyed Gone Girl!
SoCalSmoker
Ran all the dailies for Gone Girl. Waiting to see the most recent cut.
polarbear
I read the first one and found it to be pretty average I wont ruin the story for all the people who are waiting (with baited breath) for the film to come out but I will say that considering the graphic sexual content of the book I am interested to see how they translate that to the screen without incuring a R18+ rating in Australia. If they plan to try and tell the story without the graphic content I feel the film will be pretty dull due to the fact that the only thing that kept the book remotely interesting was the fact that the 2 main characters seemed to be F$%king every 30 pages
