Popular Post Puros Y Vino
Came across some old dress box labels. Don't know the dates but some must be pre-embargo. Anyone who can shed some light on any of these, please chime in. Enjoy. This one has no markers on it but it is a stunning piece on it's own. Old La Flor De Cano Two old Ramon Allones dress box labels Three Vintage La Corona dress box labels. Cifuentes label. (possibly the inner liner?) nivanov
I believe the lithographs to be from the 1920-1940 time frame, the Cifuentes oval litho was most likely used over the top of the nail that seals the box. See below example.

canadianbeaver
Hi Frank!!! These are in Amir's Partagas book. For instance, The RA dress box labels are on page 165, circa 195o from his personal collection. I have guests coming for dinner. If anyone else wants to start looking stuff up, they can, or I will come back later. Cheers!
CanuckSARTech
Very cool, Frank. Thanks for sharing. That first one - if you'd like, print off a colour copy, and I can bring it down with that other stuff we've discussed, and we can see about getting it positively identified.
