I had to go with the JL2. It's a firecracker as the Prez calls it. I love the PSD4, RASS, and Boli RC and while they get better in the long run, the JL2 is better early on.

I find it hilarious that Montecristo Open Master has zero votes

I'm going with the Montecristo Petit Edmundo. I want someone to say its not really a robusto.... Say it....

i have found Short Churchills can be very good in the 1 to 2 year period. However they are massively inconsistent, so I voted for the D4 which rarely lets me down and seems good to go straight away.

I'm going to say that most current robis are fantastic BUT upon more research all robos I've had rolled at Partagas are absolutely insane i.e. BRC's & RASS are beyond rich and extremely well balanced and have legs for years. I think many are finding that cigars rolled there are just dynamite in any vitola ?

The Vegueros Entrepid or whatever...Petit Robusto I just smoked was fantastic, also had a good Petit Edmundo this week. I know they are a bit smaller but could be lumped in the same boat.

Of the cigars on the list that I have smoked, the POU 13 Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion Number 4 were/ are fantastic. They were as good with 18 months on them as they are now. I'll be sad when they are gone.

After having just about all the robustos out there, my most recent box of BRC from the prep have by far been the best. I've received other robustos of the same grade (psp/hq) from him(side note - all rea)y good), but I was amazed how the BRC were rott.
