Rest in Peace: Mark Murace

Recommended Posts

I took the opportunity to reflect on Mark's life and impact on us all at FoH by remembering his quiet, generous and gregarious nature this week. So, while I was on Recreational Leave from my work, I drove about 75 minutes and visited my brother-in-law Cuzz (and my other brother-in-law Emmanuel) and gave him an early birthday present, a Cohiba Robusto Supremo, whilst enjoying the beautiful and serene sunset at Lake Illawarra. Although I only met Mark in person at Havanathon, I believe he loved the outdoors and nature. I'm sure he would have approved! Each day is so special!

I have to admit, I myself, started crying when I read Warrens post. It's evident that this gentleman was one of the very few good guys on this planet which there are far too few of unfortunately. I wish his family the best and that they see what a positive print this man left on this planet. RIP!

****! That is terrible news to hear. I'm genuinely in shock!! Mark was an absolute gem of a man. I have had many a fine chat with him on the deck. He always met you with a firm handshake, warm smile and genuine interest how you were. He had great cigar knowledge, was always willing to offer a cigar and had many a great story to tell. Damn It!!
