One of my favorite books as a child. Required reading in school and it stuck with me. Having been born and raised in the South, it opened my eyes to the injustice of the past.

Have not read "Go Set a Watchman" but it is going to the top of my list.

Indeed. Mockingbird is one of the greats. Watchman is waiting in my "to read" pile at home.

Read Mockingbird in school as well and agree how it sticks with you...Go Set a Watchman well get stuck in.... comparing the two books probably better suited in another thread at a later date .
