Popular Post Diamondog
Friend and I just got back from Havana yesterday. Such a great trip as always! Always meet new and great people every time I go. This was my first time staying at a casa and the location and accommodations were absolutely perfect for what we needed. I have travelled like this many times elsewhere but am very happy my first experience in a casa in Havana could not have gone better. This was as usual a cigar trip, smoking and of course buying. We knocked it out of the park in both areas, it could not possibly have been better. I had the pleasure of spending some time watching and talking with La China as well picking up some of her cigars and I also had the pleasure of checking Alejandro (Alex) at the Comodoro, what a great guy and a great host to my friend and I and his cigars can run with anyone in the business simply brilliant! Coming from El Laguito Alex is 30 and is right at home at the Comodoro, there 2 years - his cigars are simply stunning and second to none. We sat with him smoking cigars for 2 afternoons last week and listening to his stories. Anyways here are some shots. Saxman
I'm going late December and will drop by and see Alex. I'm Cuban and I'm going back for the first time in 48 years any advice getting them back to the US. $100 does not seem like much but there must be a way.
