sung by the animals - how appropriate.

actually saw them in a converted porn theatre at lutwyche several decades ago. great band but the crowd. couples bonking against the wall, blokes throwing up. people in unconscious heaps. did not stop eric burden for a second.

yes, people. driftwood.

any semblance of credibility just went out the door forever.

Us Yanks usually say "out the window", but why quibble...

Thanks for the review. I look forward to trying these.

I believe the original lyrics were:

"But I'm just a soul whose intentions are good.

....Oh Lord, please don't make me lick the driftwood"

I just had my first Sancho Panza Belicoso, from the New to Habanos sampler...I am hooked, I must have a box.  I didn't get the driftwood taste ?, but it was so smooth, salty, savory and tasty.  Pres, please put up some HQ or higher on 24:24 !

Didn't any of you wags ever build a driftwood fort on the beach when you were kids?!  Remember the scent of the place when you were inside?  That's "driftwood!"

One of the interesting aspects of this cigar (at least to me) is the sweetness that you get if you draw very gently and slowly.  Pull on it normally and it disappears. :cigar:

I've been curious about these for a while - very interesting. There's just something so cool and rustic about the way this cigar looks, too. So, that salty component (driftwood, of course) is something I really like in a cigar as well so very interested in getting my hands on some.

Any advice on more recent vintages (since the LTB 2013s) which are smoking well?
