This New Brand of Gin Wants to Erase Your Wrinkles

There's a new brand of gin on the market that claims to stop the effects of aging. Seems legit. rolleyes.gif

The 40-proof liquor is called Anti-AGin (geddit?) and its active ingredient—besides witch hazel and chamomile—is collagen. "This is the alcoholic equivalent of a facial," Anti-AGin boasts, promising to erase wrinkles and skin damage.

Collagen does keep skin hydrated, which can improve its overall appearance and brighten your face, according to Stat. Alcohol, on the other hand, is pretty damn destructive, bloating and blotching your skin in the short term and basically destroying it in the long term. It's an age accelerator, and it is doubtful that anything, not even a diet heavy in collagen-soaked food and drink, can stop that.

But it certainly can't hurt to give the gin a try. Here's a cocktail recipe for inspiration.
