Now I would take the below with a grain of salt.

These are the projected release dates for cigars we have been anticipating.

The chances of seeing all of them as per the schedule?....buckleys to none :D

I would be thrilled if half came through as anticipated.

Anyone want to join me for a PC (Marevas) while we ponder what a porn star can do with a couple of 58 ring cigars? What were those again, Cohiba Masterbatos???

I'm with you, Piggy.  These Redwood logs are just too much.  Give me a 38-42 rg cc anytime over these monsters.

...why?

Why chase cigars when my experience tells me I will likely end up with cigars that cost me twice as much and satisfy me one-half as much? More for you mate, more for you!!!

I don't want my tastes pushed around by a marketing plan of 'never get a bead on what you want, because they are always changing it.' My tastes don't change anymore, at least they have not for the past decade or more.

This plan of all these 'limited cigars' is one of perpetuating regret. Let me explain. If there is a phenomenal cigar in the bunch it might be sometime before they acclimatize and their worth is proven. Perhaps I cannot get more then. I don't want cigar to covet, I want them to smoke! Then, there is the higher probability that what a buy is not really what I like in the first place. Again, more regret that I spent the money, wasted it on cigars that are not my taste... The plan is a loser for smokers like me. It is a winner for collectors and those that simply enjoy the hunt. I am not that guy. I enjoy regular smoking of proven products. That is the guy I am...

Thanks for the suggestion though, I am just not moved by fads and fairytale cigars! As I said, more for you guys that are.

Seriously guys, get a grip!   I mean, I don't like a big fattie any more than the rest of us . . . but this is all going to backfire on us if we keep complaining about "large wide" ring gauges in front of the girls!! :P

Really looking forward to the Montecristo Dantes LE.. With a 48 RG and a largo of 167 that's about the perfect vitola for me. Montecristo have never disappointed me with their LE's.

Never mind when they are released. Which are any good? Besides, my wallet is complaining about the cost of the REs and Els. How about a greasy looking box of, lets say,

BCG

SigloIV, VI, III

RASS

Mag46

PSD4

898

CORO

Punch Punch

HDM DC

and the list goes on.

Good REs and Els are OK but I've been much happier with the regular production stuff for quite a while now.

Who wants a bet that the H. Upmann Robusto Anjedo is whatever was left over from the 2012 or 2009 EL's of that year?  Or at the very least produced alongside them at the same time...

I would love them to be the LE Robusto. They would actually have a winner :spotlight:

I agree. I just bought a 2012 box when in Antwerp.  My favorite cigar by far. Probably going to smoke the one I have with me tomorrow in Vegas.

Even if they come out as a similar price point seriously though was an amazing cigar. But in all honesty, just chasing the chance to replicate that 2007 travel humidor robusto. If these come out with a light wrapper I will prolly get 7 boxes!

There were no "left overs". The Robo 2012 was probably on of the LEs hardest to get and quickest to be sold.
