Ryan Posted August 22, 2016 Share Posted August 22, 2016 I saw an unfinished version of this film in March of last year at a test screening and finally saw the finished version of it last Friday, followed by an interview with the writer and director. Great film, it's an odd one. Irish director, writer and film crew went to Cuba and made a Cuban film with the Havana drag scene as a back-drop. For anyone with an interest in Cuba, it's a good watch. I'd highly recommend it if it gets a release wherever you are, or stream it etc. Great performances, Jorge Perrugorria from "Fresa y Chocolate" is fantastic as the father. I know many people simply won't watch "gay films" but this is a great "Cuban film" and the story goes way beyond "gay".
