I myself am heavier because of injuries in my legs while in the service for my country! Many of my fellow soldiers are experiencing the same as we sacrificed our bodies at an early age and now face the consequences of having a body of someone 10-20yrs older than us. Far as BMI accuracy the only sure way is the water tank method for measurement. I'll never forget walking in the local mall with a young college classmate and one of those health places took a few measurements of him (he had a sweater on) and they told him he was fat, obese or whatever. His jaw about hit the floor. Not sure what they were peddling. Guy was a sprinter in college track and field and running back in college football at the time. "You think I'm fat? Are you kidding me?" as he pulls his shirt off. In the water tank test my young friend has a BMI that is very low.
