Worst examples of Miscasting in Movie History

You're confusing Greece & Rome.

? What, you mean as far as who did what?  Are you telling me that it was the Romans who did the violation of the Sabine women thing? I don't mind being wrong and corrected, but again - as it was mentioned in my original statement - the Greeks, because of their officialized life style, were not re-populating. So they abducted the women of Sheba or the "Sabian" regions because they were known to be fertile, child-bearing-wise. And no real "HEY YOU!" condemnation of the Greeks meant here - women were kidnapped, abducted, etc. REGULARLY during those ancient battle scarred, warlike days. Again, if you have or know something different, I'll bite.

Will Smith as Agent James West and his son as the Karate Kid.

Ashton Kutcher was a bad Steve Jobs. And, even though I'm a fan of him, I feel Steve Martin ruined everything I loved about Inspector Clouseau in his Pink Panther movies. Hard to top Peter Sellers in

I thought Grammer and Gibson were the saving graces..... :)

Haha...that's one way of looking at it I never thought of! ;)

So, Gibson and Grammer are fine as dramatic actors, it's the other action actors that were miscast! :lmao:

I happened to tour Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London earlier this week, and they were rehearsing a very interestingly casted version of Romeo and Juliet.  Didn't seem to be many Italians.

Brexit beginning to bite?

Leonardo DiCaprio in almost anything. Yes, he's a good actor and did a great job leveraging who he would work with to get serious parts.

the departed bothers me the most.

It should.

It's a remake ... and when was the last time a Hollywood remake of a foreign film was any good?

Steven Segal in any of his later movies as a puffy over weight crime / judo / karate and

a number one all american good guy taking care of the bad guys.  Pitiful!

Or John Wayne again in "The Green Berets" totally a fish in the wrong pond!

Take your pick no winners here!

Most recently - ScarJo in Ghost In The Shell.

Thank you!  Her terrible acting job really ruined the movie for me.

I'd also like to add Emma Watson as Belle in the most recent Beaty and the Beast.
