I love all cars! here are a couple of my "Sport" cars 1966 Ferrari GTB, 1932 Auburn 8-100A Boattail, 1957 Mercedes 300sl, 1967 Healey 3000 BJ8, 1957 Corvette Fuelie,

Bought a few months ago.  Still in the break-in period! My first sports car since having kids.  Waited 1.5 decades for it.  It's soooo good!

'74 TR6

I drove it from April to end of October this year.

Same time frame for me or longer. I remember it was only a few years ago I took it out on a mild Christmas Day with a Santa hat on

This pic is when I first went to see my Rx7. Shortly after that I put down a deposit. I have been wanting this car for many years. It was a dream come true when I went for my first drive in it. I will never forget that day. I will never sell it.

Some at my work is really into these as well.  His is super mint and drives it a lot.  Such a beautiful design that still looks fresh today.

Thank you! I agree. They are a timeless design!

I have always been an Alfa man. Two in my stable right now. Gina the round tail and Bella the square tail. Love them both. But, Gina is so much fun to "toss" through the mountains.

Nice. Didn't see this thread til it was recently revived. Just went through all the pages in hopes of finding alfa spyders. They're my dream classic car. So beautiful

Love my AWD Alfa, handles like it's stuck with glue to the road....but the S is no slouch with the reprogrammed ECU adding a 100hp....

Regards.

Absolutely love the 3rd Gen. I had a 2nd Gen (1987) that I really loved as well - not overly powerful, but overall balance and incredible handling made it truly fun. Looked at 3rd Gens when they came out, but the price leap put them out of my range. I think that might be part of why they didn't last in the U.S for all that long. For me, Rx7s were the epitome of what a sports car is all about.

Do you have any pictures?! Would love to see your FC. I agree - they all handle so well. Inherently because of its design and the fact that it is a rotary.

How much was an FC Rx7 brand new in the states? Just curious. FD Rx7s in Australia cost about $90,000 - $100,000 AUD. The rarer model (SP Rx7) cost about $120,000 - $130,000 from memory.

I'd been wanting a Ducati for so long! Rode sport bikes for nearly 10 years (CBR and a GSX-R750), but now I only have this:

Which is also my avatar!

Love it! I had a Gixxer 750 and an 01 Erion Racing 929 back in the day as well.

If I have any pics or original paperwork, they're buried somewhere :)  Mine was a 1987 tornado silver sport package, which included GXL wheels, Turbo brakes, suspension, and seats. There were some minor "aero" bits. Manual windows, locks, mirrors, though mine did have a power sunroof. If I recall correctly, I think it listed for around $17,000 U.S, and I probably paid somewhere in the $15s.
