Looking for some cigar gifts for some buddies of mine.  Bought them some Lotus torches that have already fallen apart.  Cigars would be great, of course, but I'm not sure they both have humidors.  Wondering if there is something durable and cool that I haven't thought about.  Thanks!

The PerfecDraw is something everyone needs but no one knows about or has. If I had to get a relatively inexpensive gift that will be used and loved I'd get that.

Lighters--hard to find a good, reasonably priced one people like and will use. Ashtrays can get pricey and again, might not get much use for some outdoor smokers.

Cutters, same issue. Can get pricey and some like different cuts or a punch, etc.

There are some great ideas here. If you were wanting to go the humidor route you could set them up with a tupperdor. Relatively inexpensive option and gets the job done. Hell might even have some funds left over to even get a stick or two for them.

quality cutters are always in fashion............;)

Ronson makes a cheap Butane lighter that works well, but even the 40 to 50 dollar torches seem to have short lives.

Proper ashtrays are nice gifts,as are cigar cases.

if you want to give cigars, put them in plastic bags and then a mason jar.

Shoe box sized Tupperwares are cheap, durable, and thoughtful..

Hydrometers should be a suggestion, I would let a friend pick up his own.

I concur with the others that have said a proper humidor.  It's amazing how cheap a nicely made desktop unit is.  Include Bovedas, since they are idiot proof.

Otherwise, cigars are a better gift, but only if they can keep them properly or smoke them immediately. :cigar:

As for PerfecDraw... I might need to give that one a shot.

How can you possibly loose with the following sales arguments??

"heat hardened, super-light-weight aircraft/aerospace grade 6061 T-6 aluminum"

"military aerospace grade, 25 micron thick gloss black anodized hard coat”

"constructed of meticulously precision machined, non-corrosive 304 surgical stainless steel"

I'm giving it a shot.

It is my hope that I can coerce the remainder of an old box of Fonseca KDT's into being the delightful little stogies they were meant to be.

How about a decent humidor since you don't know if they have...

On second thought, they might curse you in a few short months/years after they end up at Camp W.
