Happy 4th of July to our American FOH'rs

Recommended Posts

Deployed and my traveldor ran out of cigars. Not complaining too much because it's the exact opposite of cigar smoking weather. I just plan on celebrating every holiday and occasion I missed, at once, when I get home. Happy 4th to everyone!

Happy 4th. Company all weekend as we are celebrating Hannas graduation and My SIL is in town from California .

I declared an anti hoarding weekend so I'm pulling out some stuff I was going to wait on. So far Reynoldo Supreme, a upman 2 I won from an FOH contest Alex Robusto. Not sure what I'll pull out today, something big and juicy.

Have a great day everyone!

Decided to dip into this generous gift from a fellow BOTL on this incredibly beautiful, sunny and dry 74F/23C Independence Day, although perhaps I should have opted for a UK regional...:P (I removed the ER band as it was a bit loose)

HAW!!

Growing up my dad had a few bricks of Black Cat fire crackers.  No bigger than the crackers today, but he would set a 3lb coffee can upside down over one, light the fuse, and it would blow that can 20+ feet in the air.

Do that now and a current "Black Cat" will hardly raise the edge of an 8oz coffee can.

What a let down....

Thank you.

Field Marshall Monte 2 stopped by poolside escorted by Mount Gay Barbados rum - on the rocks.  Glorious weather especially for this time of year.  Not humid for a change. Spectacular day for mid-summer. Spent entire day in the pool with wife and daughter.

 -- Happy Independence Day!

P.S. For any sore losers out there, you had a second chance with the War of 1812... :);)

Independence Day gents, Independence Day!!!

We had local brush fires that made the place smell like hell. Luckily no one was hurt and no major property lost. Most of all, the PAS '01 SLR A that I smoked today was a dream and not affected... (What me egocentric?) -LOL

The local fireworks display, us little folk here in my town of the Peoples' Republik are not allowed to play with fireworks as we are not responsible, was good as usual and I have a pretty good view from my back yard. Of course we can vote, smoke MJ and drink booze but a little cardboard cone that fizzes and sparks, well, that is well beyond our grasp. Of course we use controlled elevation fireworks now, as we don't want to affect low flying alien space craft, global warming and the ozone layer simply celebrating what used to be considered freedom... and the birth of our nation. Priorities you know.

I am kind of surprised that we don't just get to watch a show of fireworks at the 'Drive-in.' I am sure it is coming... eventually!

All in all it was a nice day. I enjoyed some great pulled pork on an open faced bun with BBQ sauce and BBQ beans. We watched some movies like Battle of the Bulge and of course my July 4th tradition, JAWS!

Thanks for the warm wishes my friends. -Piggy
