PIggybacking on Ray's (Pigfish) now infamous snake collector high school mate, have you ever gone to school with someone who became famous/infamous?

In high school- a girl I knew became a somewhat well known porn actress?  Forgot her name.  I was shocked.

My daughter goes to school with Kendrick Lamar's sister (OK that's a stretch).  He attended her graduation just recently.

I have a few. In little league I was not a great player. I ended up on a team with BJ Surhoff who was a few years younger than me. He played in the majors for 18 years and played in an all star game!!

Christopher Atkins of Blue Lagoon fame went to my high school.

Not that I know of. I mean we had a great skateboarder that was sponsored but that's about all I know of.
However, here in the desert there was an army chick that ate a camel spider last week and it got 1 million views on YouTube in like 2 days so she's kinda famous now.

Used to at ball with a couple of guys that got to the NBA and played against Dirk Nowitzki when he played for Germany in the junior euros.

Got a few friends who are comedians and actors in the UK and are on TV quite a bit.

played against wally lewis when i was at school.

granted it was cricket.

from my state school, which oddly for brisbane, was in an area where aussie rules ruled, we had a couple of guys go on to play in the AFL or whatever they called it then. gary shaw - he was one of two really good players and went on to play for collingwood during the 80s and then the bears. the other guy i'm not sure what he did - lost touch - though he was the most naturally talented player you could imagine - tallest guy in the class, and the fastest and and the coordination one could only dream about. and both were really nice guys.

Yeah I went to school with a guy who played for the Wallabies (rugby). He was a complete ass. I used to love watching him get pounded into the paddock, thankfully he got injured one too many times and had to give it up.

If you can't tell I didn't like him :P he wasn't particularly nice to me.

clearly a waratah!

In high school I played basketball against Chris Webber who went on to be a NBA star. That is my claim to fame.

I'm guessing that went about as well as me going up against Walter Payton in Bull in the Ring drills.

To tackle Mr. Payton in practice even in high school would of been awesome.

We had a girl like that in our high school. She was 2 years below my grade. Went by the name Selena Silver. Another girl (Anna Choy) in the same year went on to be an actress.

One of my classmates had a role in the movie, "Hammers Over The Anvil". Gave him a bit of stick back then, due to the "self-discovery" scene he was in.

When my old man came to Australia in the 60s, he went to school with Kamahl.

Ivanka Trump was two years under me in high school, though I guess she was somewhat "famous" already.

This is as close to talking politics as I will get, but my impression of her since high school was always that she turned out reasonably well given her circumstances.

Growing up I swam against a lot of the Olympics trials swimmers for the 2008 Olympics. Most famous of them would be Ricky Berens who swam 3rd in the notorious 4 x 200 free relay in Beijing where Phelps lead off.

Was a year or two younger than a couple of the guys from Def Leppard at school. Nice blokes, sadly one of them no longer with us.

Funny thing. Dana and I grew up in a small town. 63 in my class. She was a year younger. Anyhow, one of her class mates is currently married to Eddie Van Halen. For the life of us we can't remember her and we knew everyone in the whole school.

My high school was one of the best basketball schools in the southeast back  in the 70s I went to school with Bobby Jones-76ers and Walter Davis - Phoenix Suns. They won a number of state championships. Watching them was like magic. The other players were like a bunch of school kids trying to play against pros.
