My buddy's shop built this car before I knew him, so I know it's done really nicely.  And who wouldn't want to cruise in a hot rod like this.  The only things that I'd change would be to get that gay shifter off the floor and back up onto the column, and have decent door panels made to cover the speakers and eliminated the awful black speaker grills.

For $125k, they could probably throw in new door trims for free...

Sweet Ford. Looks to be super clean with a nice resto. He's dreaming at $125k!

No telling....    well, you could tell this week at the auction I suppose.  But 10 years ago this guy spent close to $200,000 to acquire the car and have it completely built.  Today Duffee said it would easily approach $300k.

So, someone that really wanted the "most desireable Fairlane" and didn't want two years of work and a $300k bill might just buy it up happily at its current ask.

But not me.  Way too fancy for me.

Awesome bike and it has reverse

Yeah it kind of needs it, it weighs 350 kilos or about 860 lbs. It also has a great sound system you can listen to as you try to pick it up.

Surprisingly well, to be honest. I used to work for Mazda years ago. Every few weeks, we would go to the storage yard to pick up cars for the lot. The guys I worked with were all over 6', and had no problem fitting into the MX-5. It was fun racing back to the lot with brand new MX-5s.

I'm fairly sure in a previous life I was a Bowerbird.. I seem to have retained the likeness of collecting unusual and shinny things..
Bit of a collector but I'm also a sucker for a project, I guess my current favorite is the one I've just completed.
Saw it for sale rather cheap, My limited knowledge told me it was worth 4 times as much restored so I bought it to restore..
1977 Boosey and Hawkes Imperial Tuba in E-Flat I was to discover later... I did majority of the work myself, Then had the main body chemically cleaned

and parts serviced as part of assisted re-assembly..

Turns out it could be worth 20 times what I paid... Rather than 4.

Not bad for a winter project.
