Some great images on this thread! Here are some recent shots from me - @hechoencamera on Instagram is the best way to keep up with me.

Ok, great thread idea. I'll play! I'm an amateur "picture taker" as Photographer I perceive may be too strong of a title for me. I love photography though and it's something that relaxes me and c

Here's a still life I shot when I got back from Cuba with some merchandise.  FYI, those "ice" cubes cost more then a Talisman ... each.

I caught this series of a local bald eagle yesterday. Haven't spent more than 10 minutes with them in Lightroom just yet.

Nothing says you have to shoot digital.

I still bulk load, shoot (on old Nikon entirely manual cameras), develop, and print my own B&W film.

Of course, if I wanted to shoot professionally, I would go digital, but the entire point to me is to take my time, pick my shots, and, much like cigar smoking, the time in the darkroom is meditative to me.

I do miss that aspect.

I would love to have room for a darkroom at home, but it’s just not an option sadly.

Do you have any scanned pic that you can share?

I'll try to remember to pull some off the wall tomorrow at work and scan them.

Just scanned this one of my dog from my wall at work.  Only software processing I did is crop it properly and reduce the brightness so that the crappy version from the scanner looked close to the printed one in my hands!  (EDIT:  Just edited it to remove my phone numbers from her tag, as you could see it if you zoomed in enough!)

Love this thread. Haven't shot anything in too long. Need to take the beast out again! All shot with an old Graflex Speed Graphic 4x5 and a Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm f/2.5 aerial lens. Bokeh MONSTER.

Wow! You’re not joking. Lovely Bokeh. Nice to see some portraits on the thread, too. Thanks for sharing.?

Had a reef aquarium for a long time and starting taking pics of it to post on forums.  I got a little better at it as I went along but took my tanks down a couple years ago and haven't been able to take photos of it anymore.  Now I just usually carry it out to the lake while camping and shoot whatever walks by.

Some images of Rome. Still pushing on with my B&W obsession! Have struggled to capture the amazing and varied quality of light here. Usual setup Nikon D750 with 24/120mm f/4 lens.

So many good photos in this thread. Rarely have time to take photos these days, dug up some from the past to share.

Thought I’d give this thread a bump.

Bergen, Norway - the moon was a complete fluke.

A tree in Bavaria. I’ve been using only prime lenses recently with the Nikon, and managed to grab this crisp sunstar with a 20mm.

And the 80mm prime produced some cool bokeh in this pic taken at the Amsterdam Ale House in New York.
