Funny thing about that “porn”.... 

You see, I felt some pressure to get the box together and get it on it’s way because I’d had it for a few days, and I’d loaded almost 1/2 my puts before I remembered I shoulda photographed that stack of filthy tobacco sausages....  But there was NO WAY I was going back in there to dig them back out, and a picture of 1/2 my puts just seemed about half interesting....  So, here’s a list of puts and takes, and some porn to go along with said list.   You’ll just have to imagine that a bunch of sticks came out of that Icebox, others from The Redford and still others from the end table.

Looks like one of those old school Sanitor refrigerators from the early 20th century, modified with glass windows (and a few other touches I’m sure) to display the cigars. Awesome idea.

Do a forum search for icebox humidor. I did a step by step a while back.  It’s documented here somewhere....  No glass was harmed in the making of this storage unit.

CURRENT INVENTORY AS OF JULY 10, 2018

Ok I was off by a little bit. Just counted. 7 of the original cigars I started the box with are still there. Not bad. 7 of 49 after 16 participants. You guys are missing out on those too, btw...

The selection of TOS XXX 16 principes is getting heavy. I'm surprised that cigar isn't immediately taken. Atleast the TOS MAY 16, in my experience, is one of the all time great production runs. It's easily in my top 10. Truly excellent.

@nsills Realized after sending the box, that he had forgotten to remove the PSD4 that he had "paid for". He has graciously offered to move it to a 'freebies' bag. That's a sweet freebie for anyone to snag.

On the matter of freebies... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not put your non-freebie cigars in the same bags as freebies. I'm instructing all future participants to ensure that all freebies bags are CLEARLY LABELED "FREEBIES". If non-freebie cigars go in bags with freebies, people are going to mistakenly take them as freebies and completely screw up the inventory and fairness of the process. SERIOUSLY please heed this. ***DO NOT PUT NORMAL CIGARS IN THE SAME BAGS AS FREEBIES!!!***

I've asked @Azksig to help me with a couple tidbits of inventory management. I just spent the last 2 hours getting it organized and updated for him when I realized that some of our esteemed colleagues had made some indexing mistakes. Hopefully that will all be sorted out before the box heads off to @Hotboxx , whom I KNOW is very excited to participate.

Interesting [maybe] tidbits, gleaned from the data - My original stock was 49 cigars worth a cumulative 268 points. The current inventory as of today is 76 cigars worth 389 points. (if my numbers are off, someone please feel free to correct me - i've been staring at a screen for far too long and CBF triple checking my 49/76 line addition calculations)

Original stock had a mean average value of 5.47 points per cigar. Current stock mean average is 5.12 points per cigar. 0.35 points per cigar mean value decrease is negligible. This would seem to indicate that the average value of people's puts is fair and consistent.

The stock has grown by 27 cigars/121 points. That is a 55% increase in total number of cigars and a 45% increase in overall point value.
