Great wedding weekend! My dad turns 90 in July, my mum 85 this year. They danced away until closing time.  Ben and Hattie were magnificent. My youngest Brother Rick (left) went "to town

Had a good fall steelhead trip recently. Went 13 for 13 on steelhead in 2 and a half days. Excellent weather! The young angler James was successful as well!

Went to Cuba, smoked good cigars, ate good food, saw cool stuff.

Does anybody remember this restaurant and other photos from an AMC classic series filmed in New Mexico?! Visited a few of the locations where the series was shot.

A buddy and I enjoying cheap and cheeful cigars (RGPE and Cohiba club) while golfing in Fairfield, CA. Relaxing day, but cold (50s F) and overcast. I'm fortunate to have several golfing buddies who also share a common enthusiasm for CCs.

Played well and also enjoyed more C&C's, a Fonseca Delicias and Quintero Panetelas.  Note that with these smaller ring types, you gotta smoke them slowly or they get bitter quickly.

Have a relaxing weekend everyone.

I took him record shopping too and I've now got 2kg of vinyl to mail to Australia when he gets home. As Wallace and Gromit had it - A Grand Day Out!

Good stuff.   I'm surprised with over 24hrs spent in our nations capital, that he still maintained a smart casual dress code, and not uber hipster.

A week off work so enjoying some of the sights followed by a sunset cruise with some drinks and smokes. Glad the weather is warming up a bit!

Made salami over the weekend.  Did two kinds; fennel and calabrian hot pepper.  It takes about two days for the starter culture to inoculate in the heating box and for the ph to lower.  Once that is achieved, they are hung for a month or so.  The large ones are about 7 lb each and take longer to cure.  It was a big pain to do them all.   Some real effort to say the least.  A lot of cutting, freezing, grinding, mixing, stuffing etc...

I would have guessed that was a wine shop that is giving salami making a go. Wow!
