Great wedding weekend! My dad turns 90 in July, my mum 85 this year. They danced away until closing time.  Ben and Hattie were magnificent. My youngest Brother Rick (left) went "to town

Had a good fall steelhead trip recently. Went 13 for 13 on steelhead in 2 and a half days. Excellent weather! The young angler James was successful as well!

Went to Cuba, smoked good cigars, ate good food, saw cool stuff.

So this happened today. 36th anniversary. Out to dinner at our favorite 10 table chef-owned Italian restaurant near Flagler.

Closing on the new house Friday, took a contract on our Atlanta house yesterday.

Got a call earlier today from the transport company they were running just a little late on a delivery so I redirected them to the restaurant based on their ETA.

Showed up just after completing our entrees and before coffee/dessert.

The entire staff (all Italian) came out to watch and the chef, who used to drive an old Alfa Spider in his younger days gave it a thorough check and a huge thumbs up!

Left the other car there and drove this to our place afterwards. Glorious!

Top goes down in the morning.

What a week.....

@Connoisseur Kim, the BuzzArd likes indeed.

well done, Mike!

Nice. I have a new Abarth spider. I had a 67 convertible ghia, which is what I thought what you had until I scrolled more and held my phone to my face.

Very nice my guy! Nothing like a convertible, especially Italian convertibles.

We have gone 1 km.  Hit a sandbank.

such clear memories of the first day on the river in chile. we got about 8 yards before you had your first mishap and the reel exploded or something. into the bank we went. you and your sycophantic little guide spend the next hour pissing about trying to get us going. i said i was going fishing and your little mate told me not to bother because i'd catch nothing. three minutes later, first trout of the trip. mind you, i think he marked that down as one of yours as if you had not caused the disaster, i would not have had the chance to fish and so would not have caught it.

i did not like that nasty little man.

i see you've taught tom your trick of holding the fish out as far as possible for photos. it is a wonder he didn't fall out of the boat.

you are the master of the "push out" shot.  You could make a tinned sardine look like a Marlin.
