We were sitting next to each other over a fine lunch drinking some particularly good Italian Pinot Nero. We got to talking and his passion/hobby is crafting musical instruments. I mentioned cigar box guitars and he said that he had always wanted to make one. Well, he actually made two and gifted it to me today. Many thanks Steve! It's the the same idea as a resonator guitar, those 'drains' give the instrument volume. I'd be interested to know what pitch those 3 strings are tuned to, @El Presidente?
