Hot Takes

1. Curse set to continue

Drew Brees has beaten 31 out of the 32 teams in the NFL. The one team he's missing: The Baltimore Ravens. The Saints play the Ravens this Sunday. The ravens are coming off a 11 sack game - I've tipped them to add to their 5-1 overall record against the Saints.

2. Aaron Rogers Excellence

Crazy 4th quarter comebacks aside. Aaron Rodgers in the red zone since 2016 (29 starts): 55 TDs, 0 INTs.

3.  Garrett Extension Incoming

After blowing out the Jags it's being reported that Jason Garrett will now be receiving a contract extension. This goes against the previous reports that he was on the hot seat. At this point in time he should be reagarded as a protected species.

4.  Deshuan Watson Needs Help

The Texans O-line has surrendered 65 quarterback hits this year. This is the most in the NFL by far - 38% more than the teams with the 2nd most (47 - ATL/PHI). For someone coming off a season ending ACL injury the Texans need to do a lot better job of protecting their franchise QB.

5.  Bell holdout continues

Do the Steelers need to pay Bell? ESPN's comparison for the first 6 games of 2017 (Bell) and 2018 (Conner)
