what long lost cigars would you love to find again

Recommended Posts

with the auction house up now what discontinued or edicion limitada are you hoping to see popup, ether a cigar you had found memories of or one you never had a chance to try?

for me it would be Hoyo de Monterrey Piramides LE 2003 perfect mix of sweet and creamy with some spice

My choice as well. Heard a lot about them, but never got to smoke any of them.

RG Slenderellas  Did find a box, but wasn't to the standard I wanted. still searching,  RGCE again found a box, but not the standard I wanted

QDO Panatellas,   passed up on boxes for €300, that I should of bought.

the sad thing is, most don't live up to the memories

      *Punch Black Prince

      * El Rey Del Mundo  Gran Corona and Lonsdale

      * Ramon Allones 898 Lonsdale

      * And though I don't think they're discontinued, I'd love to have readier access to Los Statos Deluxe for just cherished memories' sake

H.Upmann Super Coronas all day long.

I really loved that cigar.  The mag 46 does not compare to it.

It was a very, very sad day day when Habanos chose to discontinue them. 😢

Had a stellar Cuban Davidoff No 1 from 1970. I'd take a chance on a few of those.

Ramon Allones 898.  Even the German RE "re-release" is worth getting.

Dunhill Cubans. Probably a bit too rich for my blood though.

Cohiba Sublimes EL 2004.

Pretty much this exact list except I am not particularly interested in the RA’s. I also would be very interested in some of the other La Gloria Cubanas that were once around but no more if the price was somewhat reasonable. Just smoked a delicious MDO 4 last night that really left me wishing LGC still had a larger/more diverse catalogue.

There are plenty of Regional LGCs as long as you’re willing to pay the premium to have two bands on your cigars...

Thanks you! yes, I would like to try some at some point, but the cost will definitely make those singles rather than box purchases. I also am particularly interested in some of the intermediate ring gauge vitolas like the MDO 1 and 2 whereas most of the recent RE’s I am familiar with are at least 50.
