WINNER & RESULT ANNOUNCED!! 50/50 FOH's Weekly Poll Comp: #8

50/50 Poll #8

126 members have voted

  1. 1. Sydney to London. Long-haul flight. You're basically looking at 24hrs of travel. You're booked in business class, but upon entry to the plane you're informed it's all gone awry, your business seat is no longer available. Your hosty now presents you with two alternatives...

    • In first class, you can sit next to Bill Murray. Bill's in fine fettle. He raises a glass of whisky, gives you a smile, and waves you in.
    • In the dregs of economy, you can sit next to Scarlett Johansson. There's a couple next to her, with a baby - it's crying its head off. Regardless, Scarlett seems to be feeling a little frisky. She smiles, gives you a coquettish wink, waves you in.

The baby kills it for me. What monster takes an infant on a plane? Especially for 24 hours. Clearly hates both their child and every other passenger. Been down that road waaaaaaaaaaay too many times!

Even if I had a 50% chance to die in first class I’m rolling the ?!

Easy.  "Gunga galunga...gunga- gunga lagunga." So we finish the eighteenth... and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know... for the effort, you kn

I'm not a small guy and I've done a 13 hour flight in economy. Nothing, not even Scarlett Johansson, could get me to pass up that first class seat. On second thought, put Salma Hayek in that economy s

Bill or Scarlett is totally irrelevant. I’m going first class

I'm picking Bill in first class. I don't want to live in a world where I disappoint ScarJo in the sack. One woman (my wife) being burdened with that is enough. No reason to put that on ScarJo too.

Bill.

If she’s really interested, a first class seat next to Bill Murray should help seal the deal. Not to mention she goes away after and no droning self important drivel.

I am single and free to do what I want and also 6'4" and never do transatlantic in coach so would relish the time with Mr. Murray.  And would try to get him totally hammered....

Scarlett got my vote. I had to apply the Seinfeld rationale: if I ever got to fly first class I could never go back to economy. And that would pretty much end international travel for me.

Plus Bill's going to nod off quickly, so's the baby (hopefully!)

Scalett's going to be more fun. (nothing to do with trying to shag her, not at all ;))

I spend 24 hours every day with a funny looking man with a wry sense of humour and a whisky habit - he lives in the mirror in my bathroom.

And if the baby gets too noisy for conversation, Scarlett can share my earphones when I play the Lost in Translation soundtrack on my phone. My Bloody Valentine will drown out anything.

Russian will do so:

1. Sit with Bill Murray

2. To drink with him all the whiskey and vodka in business class

3. Asking Bill to introduce me to Scarlett as great producer, as his friend.

4. Go to the economy class with Bill for flirt with Scarlett.

P.S. I'm 99% sure you won't have a serious relationship with Scarlett, but we will not be bored in flight and all three of us will remember this episode for all life.

Let's see now....

Staring at scarlet (whom I have no hope of "doing" )  while listening to a baby cry while shoe-horned into economy......

OR

Drinking with bill and watching (probably) porn.....

Tough choice
