Thats pretty awesome. Have You tried some of the them? I tried one from the 50s in London several years, ago. Like a good old Bordeaux.

I've tried them several times. 😁. They are exquisite smokes. The Partagas are bold and mineraly. The Dip 7 floral and baking spice.   Both very smooth.

Oldest box in my humidor is Montecristo No.4 box code NNSL VC1, November 95. 3 cigars left. The box was split with @Luca and had 12 cigars left in it when we purchased it.
Oldest full box is the LCDH release 3 coffin Partagas Culebras, MUR MAY13.

My eldest are few boxes of the 2014 cohiba supremes and a few boxes of 2011 behike 52/54. I may have one Coro from 2008...I gotta smoke some of these. I hate having cigars to look at rather than smoke

I have some '01 and '03  Esplendidos. They are holding up well and I probably should smoke them. There are other cigars in my humidor, mostly stored in tubes with 10 + years. Often , if i have a very good box, I put a few of those cigars in tubes and forget about them. But for the most part  I don't collect cigars. When a box is on I smoke them.

a 50 cab of early 98' Punch SS#2's.  They were so harsh and mongrel when I picked them up in about 2010.  Someone I met was nice enough to gift me one at that time from his cab of 92's. It was the second best cigar I ever smoked.  He told me to resist smoking from my cab for another 10 years or so and that the SS2's are notoriously incredible with lots of age.  I have most of that cab still left and I can tell you they are getting better and better.   Doesn't get much more old school than the SS2's.

Monte especiales and 5s from the late 80s. Really hit or miss, some are great, some taste like old books lol.

I've smoked several from each.  I bought them as vintage cigars. Someone else stored them since their "birth"  Here's a few photos.
