Question about Freezing Cigar Process

Recommended Posts

It's one of those things in cigars where there isn't a huge amount of scientific proof and you can only go off what works for you. I can only say that what I do works for me, haven't ever lost any cigars through damage, never had any beetles and seems very low stress:

  • Put cigars in 2 Ziplock bags
  • Put cigars into freezer for 4 days
  • Put cigars into fridge for a day
  • Put cigars at room temperature for a day
  • Take out of ziplock bags
  • Put cigars into your stash
  • Thanks 1

Thanks! It seems that it is one of the cigar topics which doesn't have any scientific proof except cigar beetles die at cold temperature.
