If money was no object.

Porsche 959 (this car is perfection to me).

Runner ups: Ferrari 288 GTO and a mid 2000's era Ford GT

I was torn between the 959 and Testarossa for automotive modern/classic pick.  I was fortunate to see 2 959's drive by me last year within a few hundred yards on a slow road!  There is a Porsche repair shop near my house that was overhauling two and they must've been shaking them down.  Only time ever have I seen one on the road.

They look funny without the engine in them.  Sit so much higher!

*You could probably make a pretty penny driving seniors and kids around in that. You'd be famous in your area

So many great cars and bikes I dream about, but I miss my 94 Mazda Miata kinda like this one — roll bar, Koni shocks, JR swaybars, etc etc etc. Cheap, trouble free, handled better than anything I’ve ever driven... Fun! 👍👍👍😀

Assuming money is no object. I'll take a MV Agusta F4 and I love the Ford GT. So damn sexy!

Quite a bike. Believe it or not, I learned to ride on an early CBX. Smooth, powerful, but rather wanting in the handling department. One of the first bikes that came to mind for this thread for me was the 1983 CB1100F, even though I've never ridden one. I have ridden the 900F and was always impressed, so I can't imagine the 1100 to be a let down.

There is a photographer I know who specializes in nothing but automotive photography, and of the golden age of the automobile.  He pretty much shoots 1920s to 1950s cars, some of which only 2 or 3 were ever made.

In his portfolio the 1930 Mercedes Benz SSK is one of my favorites!

My first car. Mine looked pretty much like this with Centerline wheels. Wish I had it back!

Something I could buy right now:

2000 Acura Type R in championship white. This  car would not stay in the garage, I'd get this one for the track, such a fun car to drive.

Something I could probably afford down the road, Porsche 964 Carrera RS 3.8. This car would probably spend a bit more time in the garage, but would definitely take it out for track days.

Shelby Cobra and Kawasaki H2 2 stroke. My dad told stories of the famous widow Maker kawi 2 stroke, probably doesn't come close to today's rockets, but it's a 3 cylinder 2 stroke!!!bb53174d56626433c8342800cf957ef3.jpg6efbf757b0dc78e89991fddc6d7f922b.jpgb7cfc62d414a50e76d98bc05ddb1294b.jpg

Toyota MR2 Mk1. I used to own one back in 1989/90 when I was living in London. Sold it when I moved to Singapore and still kicking myself about it. Best handling car I’ve ever driven. Light, mid-engined and no power steering to dilute feedback through the wheel; it was the epitome of seat of the pants driving feel.

When I was a 17 year old oik, working at an ice cream factory, the boss said one day "can you go up to Leekes (a store) to get more scoops? Take the MR2".

The only thing I'd driven previously was my parents' shitty Volvo 240 GL estate.  I must admit...I broke the speed limit...with a big shit eating grin on my face. Nice motor. Worth a fortune now.

Got mine! 1996 Merc SL500. 5L V8. All the sensors and electronics under the sun.  Who knew reverse parking sensors were a thing in '96!

But I'd really like a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR, or a Subaru Impreza 22B, ..but they're £100k+😂

I had that exact same bike way back when. That 2 stroke was like a frikin slingshot.
