Ritch
Had a good helping of Havana Club 7 year old rum on Sunday. Quite nice. But what is it about rum? I can drink a bottle of whisky and still be very much with it but a good helping of rum and I really suffer. Woke up in bed at 2am wondering how I got there, couldn't remember eating dinner but deduced I had as it appeared a good proportion of it was still down my shirt. First ever time I have had a good drinkies and not remembered what had happened. Am I losing my touch or is rum just extra potent? Despite containing the same percentage of alcohol as other spirits...
lovethehaze
Seems like maybe the food came too late... I personally don’t suffer from one to another. I would suggest trying it again but eating earlier then report back... sounds like a good time was had
Silverstix
Haven't really gotten that way with Havana Club. But I did indulge way too much last night with some Bacardi white rum and coke, kicked my arse last night and backed over me this morning too. I can't do that anymore!! johnl617
You need to try the Santiago Anejos...... I fell in love with Rum after trying those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Astar20
Probably the high sugar content of the rum since it’s mad with sugar cane it take longer for your body to burn it off than say rye or corn or grain whiskey.
